Salon Policies

lash salon policies

ATTENTION: We have updated our salon policy. Please read carefully.

Booking and Cancellation Policy:

As a courtesy to our stylists and other clients, we kindly request that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Booking fees are non-refundable; however, if you provide more than 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling, we can transfer your booking fee to a new appointment. Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice are welcome to send someone else in their place.

Child Safety Policy:

For safety and insurance purposes, and to ensure the relaxation of all guests, children under the age of 13 are only permitted if accompanied by an additional adult. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to maintain a safe and relaxing environment.

Late Arrivals:

Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late, be aware that we may need to shorten your session, but the full fee will still apply. This policy ensures we do not disrupt the appointments of other clients. Unfortunately, extensions of scheduled appointments are not possible for late arrivals.

No-Show Policy:

Full payment is required for “no-show” or missed appointments.

Refill Policy:

Brisbane Lashes does not offer refills on work done by other salons. If you have lashes from another salon, you must book in for a removal and a new full set. Returning clients must book their refill within 3 weeks of their last appointment with us and have at least 50% of their extensions remaining. If it has been longer than 4 weeks, a new full set of extensions will be necessary.

Preparation for Lash Services:

To ensure the best results for your lash extensions or lash lifts, please avoid using oily skincare products and active ingredients around your lashes. Arrive with clean lashes. If you are unable to cleanse your lashes prior to your appointment, please arrive 5-10 minutes early to use the client wash basin at our salon. This helps ensure the highest quality and longest-lasting results.

Preparation for Waxing and Lamination Services:

For the best results and to minimise skin sensitivity, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Avoid Irritating Skincare Products: Do not use products containing retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, or other exfoliants around the treatment area for at least 5 days before your appointment.
  • Medication Advisory: Inform us if you are taking medications like Accutane or steroids that affect skin integrity, as these can heighten skin sensitivity and risk adverse reactions during your treatment.
