ATTENTION: We have updated our salon policies. Please read them carefully and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out via our contact page.
No “Guests” Are Permitted to Attend
Unfortunately, under new QLD legislation due to COVID-19, beauty salons are no longer allowed to have guests of clients attend the appointment with them and wait on-premises for them. The good news is, where our salon is located on James Street has lots to do and see so your +1 can take a walk and not get bored whilst they wait for you.
No Unsupervised Children Under 13 Are Permitted
We love children, however, as we do not have child minding facilities/staff combined with the fact that during your appointment you’re not able to look after your children, we cannot assure their safety and therefore we have a strict “No Unsupervised Children Under 13” policy at Brisbane Lashes.
This is also for our insurance purposes and to ensure the relaxation and positive salon experience of all Brisbane Lashes clients.
We kindly ask that you do not try to “bend the rules” by bringing children to sit unattended in our salon as we will need to reschedule your appointment if this happens.
Appointment Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy to our stylists and other clients, we require at least 24 hours notice should you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
This can be done by SMS or email. Should you need to cancel or reschedule within the 24 hours prior, your booking deposit will not be refunded without exception. *Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice are welcome to send someone else in their place to avoid forfeiting their booking deposit fee.
Appointment “No Show” Policy
In the event that you “no show” to your appointment, you will forfeit your booking deposit fee without exception.
Late Arrivals Policy
Please keep in mind that arriving late for a service may require us to shorten the length of the treatment, with full charges applied, so as not to inconvenience the client booked directly after you. We regret that late arrivals will not receive a time extension so please arrive on time or early.
Service Booking Deposits
Please note all service booking deposits are non-refundable, however, if a cancellation is made outside the 24 hours prior or you need to reschedule, we are able to transfer the deposit to a future booking.
Lash Refill Policy
Brisbane Lashes does not refill/infill on other salons work for many reasons but essentially because we cannot guarantee the quality or longevity of the lashes applied. If you have lash extensions applied from another salon, you must book in for a lash removal before booking a new full set.
If you are a returning client, you must book and attend your refill within 3 weeks of your last appointment with us AND have 50% of your extensions remaining to qualify.
If it has been longer than 4 weeks, you will need to book in for a new full set of extensions as you will either have too few extensions left to qualify for a refill, or the extensions that are remaining will be far too grown out and will need to be removed and replaced anyway.
We are adopting all recommended precautions to do our part to prevent the spread of virus through the community. We are asking you to do your part as well, to protect yourself in our community.
To assist with this and ask for your cooperation and understanding:
